"Arts and Crafts" tries to exhibit as often as possible to promote the association, its workshops and the works of its members.

- From
Friday, July 24th to Saturday, August 8th, we exhibited numerous paintings, crafts and floral arrangements and presented the
workshops that will be run in 2009-2010. The exhibition was
held simultanously in two different places in Callac: the
exhibition-room of the Library and the Crédit Mutuel de
Bretagne bank.
- The
18 artists who took part in the exhibition (Yvonne Dandy, Richard Heninghem, Mandy McCartney, Robert Parsons, Ann Ray, Maria Scott, Raymond Sinclair, Peter Taylor, Carol Weston, Jacqueline Auffret, Jeanne Caignard, Céline Desallais, Monique Desallais, Nicole Le Roux, Marie-Annick
Prigent, Audrey Sinclair, Ronan Tremel and Catherine Sinclair) picked one of
their favourite works to be shown at the C.M.B.
- At
the exhibition-room, the same artists presented and put for sale some of
their works (several were actually sold). On top of the flower arrangements and the objects made at
the craft workshop, dolls and little presents made by Jackie Stone were presented as
a preview of the workshop she will run 3 or 4 Fridays a month from
September onwards. It was also a good opportunity for some people
to discover, for others to know better the association and its various
workshops.

- We were all very pleased at the preview as many people who had been invited came to share some time with us.

- The second exhibition of the year took place at the townhall in Bourbriac
(22390) from Tuesday, May 5th to Friday, June 5th 2009. 14 different artists exhibited more than 80 paintings: Yvonne Dandy, Mandy McCartney, Robert Parsons, Ann Ray, Maria Scott, Raymond Sinclair, Carol Weston, Jacqueline Auffret, Jeanne Caignard, Céline Desallais, Monique Desallais, Nicole Le Roux, Marie-Annick
Prigent and Catherine Sinclair.
- They all enjoyed the beautiful, convenient and light exhibition-room and the friendly welcome of the municipality.

- The first exhibition
of the year took place in the entrance-hall of Espace Glenmor in
Carhaix (29270) from Tuesday, April 7th to Thursday, April 23rd
2009. Thirteen members of the art workshop took part in the exhibtion
: six British artists (Mandy McCartney, Robert Parsons, Ann Ray, Raymond Sinclair, Carol Weston, Ron Winson) and seven French artists (Jacqueline Auffret, Jeanne Caignard, Monique Desallais, Nicole Le Roux, Marie-Annick
Prigent, Catherine Sinclair and Ronan Tremel) which made a rich and
varied venue with different techniques (oil, acrylics, watercolour,
pastel, charcoal and pencil) and themes (landscapes, seascapes. human
and animal portraits, still lives, monuments, Breton houses ...).

The association has already ticked a few more dates on its
2009 calendar:
- end of June 2009: exhibition
as part of the "Feux de la Saint-Jean" in Duault (22160)
- first week in August: exhibition
at the exhibition room next to the library in Callac (22160)
- Sunday, August 23rd: one-day exhibition at the Salle des Fêtes in Callac (22160) as part of the Callac cultural week.
